    CXW Kickoff Dinner:

    Join Gertie and EXPO CHICAGO for the Chicago Exhibition Weekend (CXW) 2024 Kickoff Dinner at UMMO, where you can enjoy a delightful evening of delicious food and networking with art world patrons.     Join EarlyWork, EXPO CHICAGO & Art21 for a Chicago Exhibition Weekend (CXW) collection tour hosted at the Gold Coast home of two influential Chicago art collectors. You’ll get to explore their iconic art collection and take in the stunning works on view that range from contemporary masterpieces to timeless classics. Afterward, make your way to the historic Murphy Auditorium  at the Richard H. Driehaus Museum, where the grandeur of the Gilded Age meets the vibrancy of modern art, for Embracing Chicago, the official CXW kickoff conversation. 

    Purchasing a CXW Kickoff Dinner ticket will grant you access to this event. Details will be shared in a follow up email upon purchasing a dinner ticket. 

    Sat Oct 5, 11am-1 pm: "Embracing Chicago: A dialogue about the Strengths of Chicago's Vibrant Creative Ecosystem" at the Murphy Auditorium at The Richard H. Driehaus Museum 

    Experience premier seating for back-to-back captivating conversations at the Murphy Auditorium at The Richard H. Driehaus Museum. On the occasion of CXW, the conversations will showcase artists, gallerists, and collectors from Chicago, exploring the vibrancy of the local art scene and the joys, along with the obstacles, of residing and creating in the city. Speakers will also discuss what it means to be a participant in a broader, ever-changing ecosystem, such as the global art world. After the conversations, guests are encouraged to explore all of the exciting programming taking place throughout the city's art galleries as a part of CXW. Don't miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of art, culture, and creativity, and to celebrate the dynamic art scene of Chicago.
