Nimo Farah is a Somali writer and community organizer based in Minnesota. Her poetry and short stories have appeared in Water~Stone Review, Saint Paul Almanac, and the Loft’s Inroads. She has performed on stages including Pangea World Theater, the Loft Literary Center, and Pillsbury House & Theater. Nimo is the founder of the Somali Arts Language & Leadership Institute (SALLI), and she is currently curating Maandeeq in Motion, a project highlighting Somali women’s clothing throughout history. She is also at work on her first book of poetry and short essays.
