Speakers are not permitted to rearrange the setup of their session without permission from the GIA team member assigned to their room. Room arrangements have been designed to ensure accessibility for attendees, and we cannot accommodate requests that limit access in the space. If a GIA team member permits you to rearrange the space, we kindly ask that you return it to its original form at the end of your session.
-
No, you may remove your badge for your presentation. When you are not presenting, it is required to wear your badge at any conference activities. This ensures that the GIA team can identify you as a participant in the convening. Please plan to arrive early for your session so that you can pick up your badge at the registration desk at the hotel. You may not pick up badges for your colleagues. The only exception is off-site session organizers whose speakers will not be at the hotel — Jaime will make a note that you may pick up your speakers' badges and bring them to the off-site venue.
